UM Surabaya Hosts Kopdar Digital Cadres

Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya hosted an event organized by the Library and Information Council (MPI) of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive. This activity, which was held in a hybrid manner and opened on Saturday 6/11/2021, was broadcast live via virtual zoom and was opened directly by Deputy Chancellor IV Mundakir who is in charge of Al Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan and Digitalization cooperation.

On that occasion, Syauqi Soenarto as the MPI Muhammadiyah Central Executive conveyed advice as well as material related to Muhammadiyah in the second century.

"The holding of this digital kopdar is so that Muhammadiyah cadres disseminate the values that are promoted by Muhammadiyah. With a new model of communication pattern that reaches more people, one of which is through social media and a way to spread Muhammadiyah's noble values. These cadres will act as organic micro-influencers and spread the Muhammadiyah narrative on social media," said Syauqi.

Syauqy also asked Muhammadiyah cadres to carry out noble tasks in out the box ways and new strategies.

In addition, the kopdar which was attended by 25 selected cadres also presented a number of presenters such as Bactiar Dwi Secretary of MPM PP Muhammadiyah, Arif Nur Kholis Director of PSDM PP Muhammadiyah, Wilda Sari Micro Influencer Muhammadiyah Maharina Novi (Co-founder of Student Media) and Yafi Helmi Director of Puskominfo PW IPM East Java.
