Improving Kemuhammadiyahan Insights, LPAIK UM Surabaya Holds Baitul Arqom Batch II

In improving the quality of Islamic and Muhammadiyah education staff at the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UM Surabaya), the Institute for Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Studies (LPAIK) is holding baitul arqom batch 2 on 25-26 March 2022.

The event which took place at the Namira hotel was attended by educational staff at UM Surabaya with strict health protocols.

In his speech, the Chancellor of UM Surabaya, Sukadiono, explained that community service must be based on sincere awareness.

"If you have entered and become part of UM Surabaya, then you must be ready to serve in the association with a sincere and sincere heart, of course by following the provisions that apply in the organization through PTMA, one of which is forged through baitul arqom," said Suko when opening the event.

Meanwhile, Arin Setyowati, the head of LPAIK UM Surabaya, explained that the implementation of BA was carried out in a blended way (online and offline).

"This method is done to ensure that the forging process of getting to know Muhammadiyah and internalizing the values of the organization requires a long process, so we divided it into material sessions online and through offline practice," said Arin.

Arin hopes that the BA which is held for two days will give the participants an impression and experience directly with a team of instructors and presenters who have good expertise in Muhammadiyah studies to local content and knowledge needed by BA participants for provisions while serving in the organization through UM Surabaya .

At the end of his remarks he hoped that through this BA could produce human resources who are loyal and have integrity in institutions and organizations that are carried out with full sincerity and joy.

"It is great hope that the university through LPAIK, BA which lasts for two days will have an impact on improving individual performance to institutional performance," he concluded.
