Improving Cooperation and HR Development, Lamongan Regency Government and UM Surabaya Press the MoU

As a form of developing the tri dharma of higher education and also developing human resources, as well as in the context of continuing the UM Surabaya teaching hospital at RSUD.DR.Soegiri, the Chancellor of the Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (UM Surabaya) and the Lamongan Regency Government (Pemkab) signed a cooperation agreement which was carried out on Thursday (7/4/22)

Taking place at the Lamongan District Regent's Office, the agenda was attended directly by the Regional Secretary, the Head of the Education Office, and UPT RSUD Dr.Soegiri, Lamongan Regency Government. The event took place solemnly and smoothly.

The Chancellor of UM Surabaya, Sukadiono in his remarks expressed his gratitude to the Government of Lamongan Regency for the cooperation that has been carried out so far, one of which is related to the Dr.Soegiri Lamongan Hospital Teaching Hospital.

"This collaboration is proof of UM Surabaya's contribution to the development of clinical education for doctors and health sciences," explained Suko when giving his speech.

Furthermore, Sukadiono advised that he would continue to develop the expansive tri dharma of higher education, especially UM Surabaya for the people of Lamongan Regency.

"Research collaboration, community service, and human resource development will be a priority to do," he added.

Meanwhile the Regent of Lamongan, Yuhronur Efendi explained, this collaboration was a form of welfare for the people of Lamongan Regency, and also a commitment to collaboration between government and campus elements.

"Pentahelix collaboration between academics, business actors, and the government which is carried out together is the key to targeting the welfare of the people of Lamongan in accordance with the RPJMD," he emphasized.
