There is always a unique story behind the graduation ceremony held by universities. Of course, these interesting and inspiring stories can be shared by the graduates.
An inspiring story comes from the Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (UM Surabaya). At the 48th graduation ceremony for the October 2022 period, three identical twin female students from different majors successfully completed their studies on time.
The three twin students are Diva Talitha Raissa Djatmiko (Bachelor of Medical Education), Deva Almira Vania Djatmiko (S1 of Psychology) and Devi Shalsabila Atika Djatmiko (S1 of Law). The daughter of the couple Roedi Djatmiko and Ida Syafiansah apparently admitted that if they supported each other so they could graduate together this year, this was done so they could focus on their careers after graduation and not want to disappoint their parents.
The three students from Surabaya explained that when they first chose to study at UM Surabaya, they were encouraged by their father, who works as a military and pediatrician who chose UM Surabaya as a private university for his children to attend school.
"Finally at that time we opened the UM Surabaya website, it turned out that many majors were offered and the three of us agreed to take different majors because our aspirations were also different," explained Deva Saturday (29/10/22)
According to his explanation, Diva Talitha Raissa Djatmiko after graduating from FK UM Surabaya, she will continue the professional program to get a doctor's degree which will be carried out in a hospital within a period of 1.5 years to 2 years. While Devi Shalsabila Atika Djatmiko who graduated from the Faculty of Law wanted to become a Notary and Deva Almira Vania Djatmiko after graduating from the Faculty of Psychology wanted to become a Psychologist.
Apart from having the same school from kindergarten to university, apparently the three of them also have the same hobbies, namely dancing (K-Pop) and cooking.
"So if we have free time and weekends, we usually cook together," said Devi.
Not only compact hobby affairs. Apparently the three of them are also often involved with each other when there are college assignments. For example, Diva Talitha Raissa Djatmiko often used her two siblings as patients because of their practical assignments as medical students.
According to her presentation, the three female twins often had funny experiences from school to college. Often his friends called the wrong one because they could not tell the difference.
Meanwhile, her parents hoped that what her three daughters had obtained at UM Surabaya would become a provision of knowledge that could be used and benefited many people. Become someone who is trustworthy and successful in a career according to their respective fields.
