Collaborating with Melati Apartments, UM Surabaya Determines Itself to be an Urban Campus

The moment of opening the 39th Anniversary of the UM Surabaya Anniversary was also marked by a collaborative collaboration between UM Surabaya and PT Adhi Persada Properti (APP) by signing the cooperation agreement for the Taman Melati Surabaya Apartment in the At Tauhid Tower Building UM Surabaya Wednesday (8/3/23)

Ma'ruf Sya'ban, vice chancellor three of UM Surabaya, said that currently collaboration and collaboration are important and much needed in order to achieve goals easily and quickly.

"The signing of the collaboration this afternoon with the Taman Melati Apartment is proof that UM Surabaya is ready to provide conducive education to accommodate the facilities and infrastructure of the academic community in the UM Surabaya environment," explained Ma,ruf

Not only that, Ma'ruf said that this collaboration was also proof of UM Surabaya's self-affirmation as an urban campus. The large number of immigrant students from various regions in Indonesia as well as students from various countries will greatly assist the availability of facilities so as to create optimal education.

"One of the supports for achieving optimal education is a supportive environment, one of which is the availability of housing, and Taman Melati has representative criteria for a comfortable residence, especially for students because it is only 500 km from campus," added Ma' ruf again.

According to Ma'ruf, this collaboration includes 2 scopes including: provision of property units in unfurnished or empty conditions and provision of special prices.

"There is one floor that is specifically designated for the UM Surabaya academic community and used as a place to live, this will further strengthen UM Surabaya as an urban campus in the middle of the vortex of the metropolitan city," added Ma'ruf again.

Finally, the Taman Melati Surabaya Apartment is located in the Mulyorejo area, next to the UM Surabaya campus.

The Taman Melati Surabaya Apartment itself is built on an area of 5,756 m2 with a total of 1,130 apartment units which are divided into 4 types of units, namely Studio Type, Corner Studio, Type 2 Bedroom, and Type 2 Bedroom Corner.

Supporting facilities such as smart home, swimming pool, food court, cafe, public wifi area, gym and other facilities are provided complete and ready to use.

Taman Melati Surabaya Apartment also provides a student center, where students can gather, discuss, or carry out other activities. In addition, there are CCTV and access cards for the convenience of residents.
