Having a profession as a doctor is certainly much coveted by everyone. The profession or work of a doctor is a noble profession, because it is in charge of dealing with humanity and is needed by many people.
On the occasion of taking the oath of the UM Surabaya Faculty of Medicine (FK) which was held at the At-Tauhid Tower building on Wednesday (15/3/23) apparently there was one family that was unique because one family worked as a doctor. She is Aisyah Faadhilah, a student of the first batch of FK UM Surabaya, whose parents both work as doctors. His mother named dr. Yaladewi Soejono is an aesthetic or beauty doctor in Surabaya, while her father, dr. Helmy Djafar Talib works as a general practitioner. Aisyah admits that her sister is currently also studying medical education.
Aisyah said that her interest in the world of health had indeed been since she was young, this was because her parents used to play with her in the clinic, even since she entered junior high school she had helped her parents in the clinic so that at that age, she was able to memorize several types of medicines.
"So choosing a medical major is truly my passion, there is no coercion from my parents, from start to finish I really enjoy the process and challenges," said Aisyah.
According to Aisyah, what has been achieved today is the result of the upbringing of both parents who educate them in a simple way. He admitted that his family had never used harsh methods in educating and raising children. According to him, even though one of his family became doctors, he never lost love and time with his family. His family often made schedules for me time together.
In her narrative, Aisyah said that her family had one key in carrying out a profession, namely: Do everything for the sake of Allah, including pursuing a job, be it a doctor's profession or something else. This means that in doing something one must be sincere, because sincerity is the key in worship. Aisyah admitted that her parents often repeated this advice.
