20 UM Surabaya Students Pass Singapore Polytechnic's Virtual Exchange Program

University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UM Surabaya) students made another proud achievement by passing the Singapore from Your Home 2022 A Virtual Exchange Program selection held by Singapore Polytechnic. Thursday (30/12/21)

The 20 students who pass will have the opportunity to study at an elite overseas campus for one full month. The 20 students who passed were Adelia Nakhlah (Accounting Study Program), Ahmad Vawaid Sulthon, Qanita Maulana Fitri, Syahroni Mustaqim, Irma Ramadhani (English Study Program), Alfito Deanoval (Biology Study Program), Alvia Poppy Nurjayanti, Farcha Arisya Aprilia (Management Study Program), Dhian Sitorukmi, Mega Maesa Putri (Psychology Study Program), Faroyhan Vicky Saputra, Ida Ayu Rosida, Lola Febriani, Tsabitah Siska Ardini, Virliana Wahyuningsih (Law Study Program), Maghfiratus Syawaliyah (Nursing Study Program) Muhammet Hudayberdiyev (Civil Engineering Study Program), Ronaldo Mahendra ( Architecture Study Program) and Septiyana Kalistiyani (Accounting Study Program)

The Head of the UM Surabaya Office of International Affairs and Cooperation (KUIK) Pramudana Ihsan explained that the Virtual Exchange Program is a form of collaboration that facilitates students from various world universities to take part in intensive learning.

“Selected students can study the various disciplines offered, such as health and medical science, computer science and electrical engineering, creative design, management, and humanities and social sciences. This program is scheduled to start on January 14 – February 14 2022," said Pram in a written statement.

Pram also added that the selection process was challenging and quite rigorous. Thankful that 20 UM Surabaya students managed to represent the campus and study at one of the best universities in Singapore.

"I hope students who get the opportunity to study can make the best use of this as a process of self-development on overseas campuses. In the future we will be more focused and continue to be committed so that more students pass and are accepted," added Pram.

Meanwhile, Ida Ayu Rosida, one of the participants who passed, expressed her emotion at having passed the Singapore from Your Home 2022 A Virtual Exchange program.

"I'm grateful to have passed this prestigious program. To be honest, this is my dream. I will use this golden opportunity to the best of my ability to explore the scientific field that I am studying,” said Ida.

In a written statement, Ida also expressed her gratitude to the lecturers who had guided her from the start of registration to passing the selection.
