Scholarship from Indonesian Government (Darmasiswa Scholarship)
DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Indonesian (Indonesian), arts and culture at 54 universities in 2015. The program was established in 1974 as part of the ASEAN initiative, by only transferring students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 the program was expanded further to other countries. Until now, the number of participating countries in this program is more than 111 countries and organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia.
