Mathematics Education Is One Of The Study Programs Under The Teaching And Education Faculty. In this study program, apart from studying the basics of mathematics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and trigonometry, Islamic religious education, language, Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah, social and humanities, and entrepreneurship will also be studied. As is the case with study programs in other educational disciplines, in the Mathematics Education Study Program educational theories will be taught which include mathematics learning methods, teaching planning, and teaching evaluation.
Career Prospects
UMSurabaya FKIP graduates can become educators in elementary, junior high, high school or university schools, but not that narrow either. You can get involved in other fields besides being a math teacher, counseling guidance. Then they can work in a company as analysts, statisticians, financial experts, even astronomers and actuaries.
