The Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya (Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UMSurabaya) was established in 1984 along with 6 (six) other study programs at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya, based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 0141/0/1984 on March 9, 1984. At present, the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UMSurabaya, is accredited by BAN-PT with a rating of "EXCELLENT" based on SK BAN-PT No. 4683/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-KP/S/VII/2022.
