This was due to complications from his illness, so he was treated by the RSCM medical team for 14 days.

Gina Noor Djalilah, a pediatrician at the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UM Surabaya, said that obesity is an imbalance between incoming and outgoing intake accompanied by limited movement.

"The current lifestyle and unhealthy food. All intake that goes in that doesn't go out will automatically become fat deposits. The problem is that this fat is not only in the organs that are visible, on the surface. But it will stick to important body organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, all the important organs,” said Gina.

According to him, children with obesity are at risk of developing diabetes, hypertension, stroke and other diseases earlier.

"Genetic factors also influence obesity. Parents who are both obese, their children are likely to be obese 40-60%. This is a warning sign for parents. But once again obesity is formed due to lifestyle and diet," he added again.

Gina emphasized that parents must be wise in choosing food.

"Especially processed foods. Good food is fresh, which is cooked immediately. It is important to pay attention to the number of calories in food," he explained

Furthermore, he added, what you also need to know is a regular eating pattern, limiting dinner hours, exercising regularly for at least 30 minutes a day.

"Do cardio first, then walk, to strengthen the heart. Avoid activities such as lying down and staring at your cellphone for too long," concluded Gina.
