Dr. Mundakir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep.
Dr. Mundakir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep, was appointed by the Chancellor of UMSurabaya on Wednesday 14 April 2020 as Deputy Chancellor IV of the Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (Vice Chancellor IV of UMSurabaya) who oversees the fields of Cooperation, Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan, and Digitalization of the Service Period 2020-2024.
Born in Lamongan on March 23 1974. He comes from a very simple family in Gendongkulon Village, Babat District, Lamongan Regency. His father was a farmer and his mother was a fruit seller at the market. Due to limited funds, after graduating from high school he worked as a Capster, a wood factory worker, helping trade in the market, and as a freelance employee at a subsidiary of PT Petro Kimia. Two years after graduating from high school he then studied at Muhammadiyah University in Surabaya.
He completed his studies at the campus of Muhammadiyah University Surabaya in 1998, Airlangga University in 2003, University of Indonesia in 2009, and Airlangga University in 2017.
In the course of his career he has been a Lecturer at DPK LLDikti 7 since 2005, Head of the Bachelor of Nursing Study Program, FIK UMSurabaya, Deputy Dean 1 of FIK UMSurabaya, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK UMSurabaya), and the current Deputy Chancellor IV of UMSurabaya.
As a lecturer, he is active and professional in academic and creative activities. These include being a resource person, journal reviewer, researcher, LAMPTKes assessor, and BKD assessor. There are 10 books he has written, as well as various publications in national and international journals.
